SPUP’s team of students from the School of Business, Accountancy and Hospitality Management (SBAHM) secured a winning spot as one of the top 10 finalists in the DTI Cashless Expo 2023 and Digital Marketing Competitions at the World Trade Center, Pasay City on November 17, 2023. They were among 78 participating teams from different schools in the country.
The team is composed of Ms. Alexia Cheyenn Jean Calizo, Ms. Aika Javier Ganacia, Ms. Kyla Ramos (BSHM-TM) and Ms. Mary Faye Maestre (BSBA-MM). The event was spearheaded by Thames International, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry which offers a free training program and inter-school competition for schools in the Philippines. Its primary aim is to boost Philippine e-commerce via Cashless Modalities and help local merchants by using digital marketing tools.
