The Emotional Reset Center, based in Silverdale, Washington, USA, organized the 2024 Mental Health and Well-being International Summit on March 19-20, 2024 at the Baguio Country Club, Baguio City. Participated in by mental health leaders, workers, practitioners, and coaches, the conference revolved around the five pillars of well-being: “Relationships; Emotions; Spirituality; Energy; and Thoughts.” The conference highlighted endeavors in empowering individuals and communities to embrace emotional well-being in navigating life’s challenges with resilience and strength.

The summit was also an avenue for the celebration of individuals, who through their personal advocacy and professional contributions, championed mental health causes and initiatives. Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President) was honored as one of the Mental Health Leaders of the Year, while, Dr. Claudeth Gamiao (Head, Guidance Services) was given Excellence in Guidance Leadership Award. Their respective recognition demonstrated their exceptional dedication to raising awareness, providing support, and driving positive change in the field of mental health.

Moreover, the ceremonies included the graduation of Certified Mental Health and Well-being Coaches. It served as the culminating activity of a four-month intensive course facilitated by the center. Having passed all the requirements, Dr. Teresita Lasam, Dr. Juana Rivera, Dr. Claudeth Gamiao, Ms. Jean Claire Lasam, Ms. Rina Angeline Labaguis, Mr. Ian Jaylord Beran, Mr. Christian Dominic Maguigad, Mr. Ian Paul Talang, Ms. Janine Paula Oñate, and Maria Angelica Camarao earned their certification.
