Office of International Relations

The International Relations Office was instituted at St. Paul University Philippines as the university’s arm in the promulgation of activities and tasks pertinent to the internationalization of SPUP. Specifically, it operates to fulfill SPUP’s thrust on global education and internationalization by 1) forging international partnerships and linkages and making sure that provisions in the MOAs/MOUs with international partners are active, 2) employing strategic marketing activities to increase the number of both degree-seeking students and short-term course completers, 3) spearheading the university’s application and eventual implementation of Transnational Education, and 4) getting involved in crafting/designing activities for personnel and student mobility within the ASEAN region as part of the ASEAN Integration programs.

Moreover, the International Relations Office works on the goals such as: ) providing support and intense participation in global and intercultural learning opportunities that prepare students to be globally competitive, 2) delivering academic programs through Transnational and Distance Education (on blended mode), 3) promotion of an inclusive, welcoming and interactive campus with international and intercultural perspectives in various aspects of campus life, and 4) continuous intensification of its collaboration with the international community to engage globally by way of strategic partnerships, student exchange programs, research and publication activities, and other academic service learning projects and special programs.
