October 13–16, 2026 — SPUP participated in the 20th Annual Review Meeting of the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Programme and CHED x SEAMEO RIHED Higher Education Week 2026 at SotoGrande Hotel in Iloilo City. Representing the University were Dr. Charito M. Guillermo, (Dean, School of Business, Accountancy and Hospitality Management, and Dr. Cristie T. Suyu, (Program Coordinator, Business and Entrepreneurship).
The AIMS Programme, facilitated by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Higher Education and Development (SEAMEO RIHED), promotes regional cooperation through student exchanges and academic mobility. Its annual review meeting allows participating institutions to share experiences and strengthen partnerships.
The four-day gathering brought together higher education leaders, policymakers, and institutions to discuss student mobility, academic cooperation, and international partnerships. It also offered SPUP an opportunity to explore student and faculty mobility and cross-border academic collaboration.
