In the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2024, St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) has been ranked 1001-1500 out of 1,963 globally participating institutions. The University also joined 55 other Philippines Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the prestigious roster. The rankings were announced on June 12, 2024.
Exceptionally, SPUP emerged number one in the Philippines and ranked 100-200 (out of 1,681 institutions) in the world for SDG 4 (Quality Education). This affirms SPUP’s contribution to early years and lifelong learning, pedagogy, research, and commitment to inclusive education.
Moreover, SPUP ranked 601-800 out of 1,498 institutions for SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being); Rank 801-1000 out of 1,037 institutions for SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and Rank 1001-1500 out of 2,031 institutions for SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
The annual THE Impact Rankings are global performance tables that assess the implementation of universities along the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The comprehensive ranking evaluates institutions across various metrics including research, outreach, and stewardship to measure their social and economic contributions in the society.
