SPUP STUDENT-LEADERS HAILED AS OUTSTANDING YOUTH VOLUNTEERS

February 11, 2024 – The Search for Ten Outstanding Youth Volunteers of Tuguegarao City has culmininated its process and announced its roster of winners. Of the ten winners, three SPUP student-leaders gained spots in the winning circle. Mr. Yowelle Ched Sedano (BS Public Administration), Mr. Emiterio Nicolas (BS Social Work), and Mr. Lester Balicao (BS Nursing) were honored among the Ten Oustanding Youth Volunteers of Tuguegarao 2023.
The said search, which aimed to recognize Youth Volunteers for sustainable community service and development, is an initiative of the office of Atty. Marjorie Chan. It is also supported by professional organizations like Rotary Club of Tuguegarao, JCI Tuguegarao Ybanag, Move Forward, and TOSP-Cavalyeros. The search, held from October 2023 – January 2024, consisted of a series of screening process – paper evaluation, panel interview, and in-person formation activities.
Other SPUP student-youth volunteers named as finalists were: Mr. Antonio Luis Maramag (Master in Business Administration) and Mr. Vince Jakob Cerezo (BS Computer Engineering).
