

SPUP-CDC STRENGTHENS COLLABORATION AT CHILDFUND PARTNERS CONSULTATION

In its commitment to advancing sustainable community development, the St. Paul University Philippines–Community Development Center Foundation, Inc. (SPUP-CDC) actively participated in the ChildFund Local Partners Consultation held from May 26 to 30, 2025, at Wynwood Hotel, Ortigas Center. Organized by ChildFund Philippines, the event aimed to deepen collaboration among local partners, enhance operational efficiency, and explore strategic responses to evolving global development and funding trends. The consultation opened with the State of ChildFund Address by Country Director Anand Vishwakarma, who highlighted global funding shifts and the implications of the Blended Model Approach.
Representing SPUP-CDC were Sr. Merceditas O. Ang, SPC (University President and Board Chairperson), Dr. Noemi Cabaddu (Executive Director), and Ms. Sharmaine Battulayan (Monitoring and Evaluation Officer). They actively contributed to reflection sessions and strategic dialogues focused on strengthening program design, accelerating grant acquisition, and integrating delivery systems. Their engagement reflected SPUP-CDC’s proactive approach to collaboration and innovation in community-based programs.
Through the consultation, SPUP-CDC reaffirmed its commitment to adaptive strategies and meaningful partnerships that drive positive change for Filipino children and communities. CDC continues to work closely with ChildFund Philippines and other stakeholders in shaping inclusive, impactful, and resilient development initiatives.
