FACULTY UPSKILL IN EVIDENCE EXTRACTION VIA COVIDENCE WORKSHOP

On May 12–13, 2026, faculty members participated in the Covidence Evidence Extraction Workshop held at the SNAHS HyFlex Room, focused on strengthening competencies in evidence extraction using the Covidence platform. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Julie Brown and Mr. Shah Satini, both experts in systematic reviews and evidence synthesis methodologies. Covidence, a globally recognized platform for managing systematic reviews, supports researchers in streamlining citation screening, evidence extraction, collaboration, and data organization to improve the efficiency and quality of evidence-based research.
Through interactive discussions, demonstrations, and guided activities, faculty members gained practical experience in extracting and organizing research data using Covidence. The workshop emphasized the importance of accurate and systematic evidence extraction in ensuring methodological rigor, transparency, and reliability in research outputs while strengthening participants’ skills in utilizing digital tools to enhance research workflows and scholarly productivity.
