DOCTORAL NURSING STUDENTS EXPAND LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN INDONESIA

Eleven students of Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science (PhD-NS) underwent learning immersion and benchmarking in Jakarta, Indonesia on July 7-14, 2024. Facilitated by SPUP, the engagement was hosted by Sint Carolus School of Health Sciences (SCSHS), a partner-institution of the University.
The said learning immersion integrates and enacts into practice the academic courses previously taken by the (PhD-NS) students. Dr. Ma. Elizabeth Baua (Program Coordinator, PhD-NS) served as the practicum preceptor of the Graduate students.
Sr. Veronica Dwiai Widyastuti, CB (Dean, SCSHS) organized the learning immersion and benchmarking activities. These included research and case presentations, school and community lectures, health care facilities visits and duty, learning demonstrations and immersion to Indonesian Culture.
