BUILDING HOLIDAY SPIRIT: CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION WITH PARTNER-COMMUNITIES

SPUP’s annual Christmas Caravan with Partner-Communities was held on December 18, 2024. This annual activity was coordinated by the Community Development Center. Each of the academic unit prepared program for their partner-comnunities.
Residents of Brgy. Magogod (Amulung), Roma Sur (Enrile), and Namabbalan (Tuguegarao City) came to SPUP and celebrated Christmas with the Basic Education Unit (BEU – Grade School, Junior High School and Senior High School) through gift-giving and Medical- Dental mission, sponsored by the BEU Family Council, assisted by the School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (SNAHS) and the School of Medicine (SOM).
The School of Arts, Sciences and Teacher Education (SASTE) conducted their Christmas Outreach to the Indigenous People’s (IP) Community in Brgy. Aggugaddan (Peñablanca). The faculty members and students of the School of Business, Accountancy and Hospitality Management (SBAHM) travelled to Brgy. Malacabibi (Solana) while, the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) to Namabbalan Integrated School (Tuguegarao City) for their Christmas Caravan. Prior to their respective celebration, the schools conducted service-learning activities, like tutoring to school children, dialogue with women’s group, and meeting with community leaders. Gift-giving, parlor games and agape highlighted the activity in commemoration of Christmas.
