Mr. Janesis RR U. Buena, BS Social Work Alumnus and the Former President of the Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development (PVCD), has been recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) for 2025. The awarding ceremonies was held on April 27, 2025, at the RFM Corporate Center. DTI Secretary Cristina A. Roque served as the Guest of Honor along with Mr. Jose Ma. Concepcion III, the founder of Go Negosyo.
Mr. Buena, graduated as Cum Laude, was recognized for his achievements in the field Social Work and Community Development. His dedication to academia, leadership, and community service exemplifies the values of the TOSP Awards Program, which aims to honor college graduates who excel not only academically but also in their contributions to society. This recognition underscores his commitment to making a difference in the community and sets a benchmark for excellence among his peers.
The TOSP program, founded in 1961 by Mr. Jose S. Concepcion Jr., has evolved over the years to build a network of alumni whose passions and advocacies contribute significantly to nation-building.
