November 6, 2026 – St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) hosted an exploratory meeting with the University of Portsmouth (London City, UK) to discuss offering joint degree programs under Transnational Higher Education (TNHE). The dialogue focused on creating collaborative academic pathways for students.
The meeting was attended by Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (SPUP President), Dr. Aneta Hayes (Head of Academic Partnerships-TNE, University of Portsmouth), SPUP administrators, and representatives from Education Center Australia (ECA), which served as the auxiliary services provider facilitating the collaboration.
Prior to the formal discussions, the visiting guests toured the SPUP campus to view its facilities and academic environment. The meeting concluded with all parties reaffirming their commitment to advancing internationalization, student mobility, and sustainable higher education partnerships.
