Filipino student-innovators showcased ingenuity, collaboration, and purpose during the National Creativity and Innovation Awards (NCIA) – Luzon Cluster, held on January 22–23, 2026, at St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) in partnership with KRYA.
The two-day event brought together emerging innovators from various schools across Luzon, highlighting research-based and technology-driven projects designed to address real-world challenges.
Participants demonstrated not only technical skill but also a deep sense of social responsibility and commitment to meaningful innovation. Representing their respective institutions, the following schools took part in the NCIA Luzon Cluster: Basud National High School (Basud, Camarines Norte), Calaogan Dackel National High School (Gattaran, Cagayan), Vinzons Pilot High School (Vinzons, Camarines Norte), St. Paul Vocational High School (San Pablo, Isabela), Western Central School of Arts and Trades (Lasam, Cagayan), Tuguegarao City Science High School (Tuguegarao City, Cagayan) and St. Paul University Philippines (Tuguegarao City, Cagayan).
More than a competition, the NCIA served as a dynamic platform for learning, mentorship, and collaboration. It fostered continuous growth among young innovators and challenged them to refine their ideas beyond recognition—toward long-term impact and responsible implementation.
