October 30, 2025 – SPUP, through the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE), has been officially recognized as an Education Partner of the Philippine Computer Society (PCS) for Academic Year 2025–2026. This recognition underscores SPUP’s strong commitment to academic excellence, digital innovation, and ICT-driven education. As a PCS Education Partner, the university gains access to collaborative opportunities, national linkages, and professional development initiatives that further strengthen its leadership in the field of information technology.
Alongside this institutional distinction, the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – SPUP Chapter, a recognized student organization of SPUP, has also been awarded a Certificate of Recognition by PCS for its active participation and exemplary performance. This acknowledgment affirms the chapter’s vibrant engagement in IT-related activities and its inclusion in the National Registry of JPCS Members.
These recognitions highlight SPUP’s continuing role as a trusted educational partner in shaping competent, ethical, and globally competitive IT professionals.
