SPUP EXTENDS PASKUHAN 2023 WITH “BLESSINGS BEHIND BARS”

SPUP extended its Paskuhan tradition with its “Blessings Behind Bar” activity. The celebration of Christmas was made meaningful as prayerful sharing and thanksgiving were endeavored for persons deprived of liberty (PDL) at the Cagayan Provincial Jail (CPJ) and Tuguegarao City District Jail (TCDJ) on December 9 and 10, 2023.
The SPUP Community, composed of SPC Sisters, faculty members, staff, personnel, alumni, and students brought joy to the inmates as they interacted, prayed and sang songs of praise and Christmas together. The management of both provincial and district jails expressed their gratitude to SPUP for always fostering avenue to celebrate Christmas for and with the PDLs in the city.
