SPUP’s Civil Engineering students participated in the National Civil Engineering Summit on October 4-5, 2019 at University of the Philippines Diliman. The academic convergence featured the theme “Beyond the Structure.”
The summit also featured the National Civil Engineering Quiz Bee where SPUP students namely: Harry A. Dela Cruz, Ivann Maverick M. Iringan, Ariel C. Turaray and Mark Loren G. Balintad, seized a distinction to be qualified alongside with other 23 in semi-final round. Engr. Jayson B. Tacazon and Engr. Shelvin M. Atilano served as mentors to the students respectively.
As an offshoot of the performance the SPUP team was invited to participate in another national competition which will be held at University of the Philippines Los Banos on February 2020.
