SPUP-Basic Education Unit’s (BEU) application for the Copyright Registration of the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based creative works has been granted by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines. Twenty (20) creative works classified as Class A (books, pamphlets, articles, e-books, and other writings) were registered and deposited in the National Library of the Philippines (NLP), in accordance with Republic Act No. 8293 or the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines.

The Certificates of Copyright Registration were issued by IPO Philippines on October 12, 2023 to the following innovative works: Project Bintech: Wastewise, An Automatic Waste Segregator; Project GT Alert; HC-ECG Hand-Crank Emergency; Project Agos; Project Tamaraw: Terrestrial Automated Monitoring and Risk Assessment on Woodlands; Werpaa:Water Electric Rotational Power Apparatus; Wheel Can Do It: A Battery Powered Wheelchair; Microzero: An Easy to Use Environmentally Friendly and Solar Charged Power Bank for Different Technologies; Aqua Sentinel: An Aqua Based Flood Detector; Kinetika: Self-Powering Vehicle; Tactile Flooring of the Future; Paulicare; Paulimpion: A Smart Service Delivery Assistant for Laboratory Operations; Paulivery: An Automated Food Delivery System; Cellquest: Interactive Mobile App for Exploring the Human Cell Anatomy and Functions; Miniature Turbine for Sustainable Energy Generation; Carepaul First Aid and Emergency App; Fingenuity: An Arduino Based Fingerprint Lock System; Feasibility of Mini Air Cooler with Arduino Based Automatic Switch Controller; and, Project Pureflow.
