SPUP-MEDTECH CLINCHES CHAMPIONSHIP PLUM 2023

SPUP-College of Medical Technology emerged as the over-all champion in the 2023 PAMET (Philippine Association of Medical Technologists) Interschool Regional Congress held on September 30, 2023 at the University of St. Louis Tuguegarao. The congress featured academic conference, literary, aesthetics, and multi-media contests, and community engagement. Students and teachers of Cagayan-based institutions offering Medical Technology – St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP), Cagayan State University (CSU), Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP), and University of St. Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) converged together to celebrate collaboration, nurture excellence, and seek ways forward for Medical Technology as a discipline and as a profession.

Among the areas of talent showcase, SPUP-College of Medical Technology bagged the following awards: Video Infomercial (1^st Place), Charcoal Rendering (1^st Place), Da Funny Ones (3^rd Place) and Laboratory Scientist Got Talent (3^rd Place). Ms. Shanaia Joy Laud (BS MedTech 2) was crowned Ms. PAMET-Cagayan Ambassador, while Mr. Michael Andrei P. Pinera (BS MedTech 3) was hailed as 1^st Runner-up. In the conclusion of the program, SPUP-College of Medical Technology has been chosen to host the 2024 PAMET Interschool Regional Congress.
