29 April 2022 – Global Peace Foundation Philippines’ (GPFP) Character and Creativity Initiative (CCI) organized a “Transforming Education Outcomes through Character and Creativity Initiative” introductory webinar as its second (2nd) collaborative project with St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) through a virtual workshop via Zoom.

Through the initiative of Sr. Merceditas O. Ang, SPC (University President) and leadership of Dr. Glenda Caronan (Principal, Basic Education Unit), the aforementioned workshop gathered 72 secondary education teachers, who were participative and interactive as they addressed issues concerning the practice of good character and creativity.

Carrying-out the goal of empowering teachers and school leaders through transformation of education outcomes, the organizers created breakout room that served as avenues for teachers to discuss the identified challenges in their character and creativity in school and to lay down solutions to counter such problems to take the lead in transforming school culture.

“Indeed, such workshop is a great avenue to help our teachers and administrators to detect challenges in character and creativity, and to provide solutions to address such issues that are inevitable. This is a great way to take a huge leap and to conquer the limelight where education prospers despite things, especially the pandemic, that come along the way,” Dr. Caronan stated.
