December 29, 2021 – SPUP’s Community Development Center (CDC) and the Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development (PVCD) – UNESCO Club extended its Handog Pag-ibig project to Tuguegarao City Children In Conflict with the Law (CICL) Center.

As a continuation of the series of Handog Pamasko between SPUP and ABS CBN Sagip Kapamilya Foundation Inc., the Paulinian Volunteers also eyed CICL as one of the recipients of the Christmas gift-giving activity. This outreach undertaking convened by the PVCD-UNESCO Club was witnessed by Mrs. Noemi Cabaddu (Director, Community Development Center), Sr. Marissa Tumabli, SPC (VP for Administration and General Services), Mr. Michael Nino Alinea (Head Officer In-charge of Tuguegarao City CICL Center); and social workers from Tuguegarao City Social Welfare and Development (TSWD).

Before the actual gift-giving, a team-building and short recollection activity were held to emphasize the values of Hope, Love, Faith, and Peace for the reflection of the CICLs. Thus, self-conversion and spiritual transformation were common in the sharing.

Mr. Alinea extends his gratitude to the Paulinian Volunteers for being an inspiration to the CICLs, and SPUP for giving their unconditional support in endowing community-based outreach and volunteer activities.
