Dr. Allan Peejay M. Lappay (Director, Alumni, External Relations and Advocacies), participated in the First Philippines Sustainability Unplugged Summit presented by SustainablePH, SustainablePH Youth, Society of Sustainability Practitioners, and Christian + Collective on December 4, 2021. Dubbed as “Conversations that can change the world,” the discussions on the summit revolved around the integration of sustainability on public service, corporate responsibility, and social entrepreneurship.
During the virtual convergence, the First Sustainability Leadership Awards 2021 was held. Champions were recognized for their passion and dedication in creating lasting impacts in sustainability along Academic Leadership, Corporate Leadership, Entrepreneurship Leadership, Public Service Leadership, Non-profit Leadership, Faith Leadership, and Arts and Culture Leadership. Dr. Allan Peejay Lappay was recognized as one of the champions on Academic Leadership for advancing sustainability through teaching, community service, and research.
The summit was organized in partnership with: Online SDG Youth Action Forum, The Climate Reality Project Philippines, Global Shapers Community – Manila Hub, Love Acts PH, For the Future, Seed4com – Sustainable Energy and Enterprise Development for Communities, iMPACT Leadership, World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific, Youth for Youth, UST UNESCO Club, Bangon and Metamorphosis Group.
