Anchored with the Paulinian core values and keeping the volunteer spirit ablaze, Paulinian students notched four out of the ten spots in the search for the 2021 Ten Outstanding Youth Volunteers of Tuguegarao City.

Ms. Divine Suyu (BS Accountancy – IV), Ms. Ma. Angel Perez (BS Public Administration II), Mr. Rufino Jacob Paguigan (BS Management Accounting – IV), and Ms. Pamela Manongas (BEU-SHS Grade 12) were among the pioneer awardees of the search as they prevailed in the initial and final screening comprising of the analysis of their accomplishments, extensive interviews, and formation activities.

Concurrently, students of the Basic Education Unit, Ms. Precious May Taguinod and Mr. Vincent Tyrone Combate also secured their spots as they were among the top 20 finalists of the search. All the students have been initiating social advocacies and are members of different organizations focusing on volunteerism while thriving in their academics.

Meanwhile, the Technical Working Group of the said event – City Councilor Atty. Marj Martin, TOSP Cavalyeros, Rotary Club of Tuguegarao, Garaw Tuguegarao and JCI Tuguegarao Ybanag who spearheaded the said event, guaranteed that the in-house activities and awarding ceremonies which was held last July 16 and October 15, 2021 at San Pablo, Isabela abided with the COVID-19 protocols.

The TOYV is in partnership with the Local Government of Tuguegarao City to foster youth engagement in concretizing efforts through volunteer works and services, servant leadership as well as recognizing the selfless service of young Tuguegaraoeños.
