SPUP is now accepted by the European Commission as a participant in funded projects in tandem with European Universities. At the moment, SPUP is a partner HEI of Universidad de Alicante (Spain) and Universite de Montpellier (France) for the consortium project: “Promoting the employAbility and enTrepreneurship of Higher education graduates through innovative WAYs in the Philippines (PATHWAY)” project along with Ateneo de Manila University, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines and Benguet State University.

PATHWAY addresses the national priority for Erasmus+ CBHE programme under the Asian Region 6, Category D “DEVELOPING THE HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR WITHIN SOCIETY AT LARGE”. Within Category D, PATHWAY aims at strengthening the “University-enterprise cooperation” in particular by promoting entrepreneurship and employability of graduates. PATHWAY is a structural project aiming to have an impact at the national level by enhancing the entrepreneurship and employability culture of Higher Education institutions in the Philippines to meet labour market needs and governmental reforms.

SPUP PATHWAY Project Team engaged in the preliminary endeavors with the European and Philippines partner institutions on February 23-25, 2021 for the launching activities, initial group discussions and workshops.
