Mr. Reynel Z. Pazziuagan (4th Year Student, School of Medicine) was adjudged as one of the Mga Natatanging Magaaral ng Medisina sa Pilipinas – Luzon Region by the Association of the Philippine Medical Colleges-Student Network – Luzon Region on February 13-14, 2021 during the 10th APMC Luzon Regional Convention with the theme, “Pamiganaka: A Decade of Medical Excellence Towards New Heights”. Moreover, he was conferred a special award as the Natatanging Magaaral ng Medisina sa Larangan ng Serbisyong Panlipunan.

The Search for the Mga Natatanging Mag-aaral ng Medisina ng Pilipinas aims to provide recognition for outstanding medical students in the country who emphasized their roles as nation builders and social catalysts. It gives distinction to students who have attained a high level of academic accomplishment, demonstrated good leadership, and exemplified social competence in the service of the people and the community.

As a leader, Mr. Pazziuagan spearheaded various academic, capacity building and sports activities in school. He is also active in community services such as Medical Missions, COVID-19 Response Activities, Gift Giving, and Relief Operations during calamities.

With this distinction, Mr. Pazziuagan also landed as one of the Top 20 finalists in the National Search for the Mga Natatanging Mag-aaral ng Medisina ng Pilipinas
