As the City of Tuguegarao is chosen to host the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) from March 09-13, 2020, SPUP joined the community in welcoming the participants of the said national event.
With various contested events simultaneously held in different academic institutions in the City, SPUP was designated as a venue for Collaborative Desktop Publishing and Online Publishing competitions on March 10, 2020. SPUP-Basic Education Unit Teachers and students likewise served as proctors and ushers in the event.
With SPUP being identified by the Department of Education (DepEd) as a place to visit in the city, along with St. Peter’s Cathedral, San Jacinto Ermita Church and Buntun Bridge, the University welcomed each regional delegation as they trooped the University prior to the formal opening of the conference.
