The Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development (PVCD) and the Paulinian Student Government (PSG) collaborated in PINAS FORWARD PINUNO CAMP on October 26-27, 2019 at the Philippine Normal University.

The delegates were Mardilyn Garcia (PVCD President), Lyder Dwygt Olivas (PVCD External Vice President), John Dave Garcia (PSG Senate President) and Nicole Marcelino (PSG Senator).

The National Coordinating Body of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines (NCBUCP), in partnership with Message Movements Media, Inc., facilitated the two-day camp to impart the virtues of SALINLAHI, SANDIGAN and SAMBAYANAN; and to cultivate national identity, character, community engagement, transformational leadership and solidarity among the youth.

UNESCO Clubs Chairman, Dr. Serafin Arviola explained: “Instill the values of being a Filipino first to become a global citizen.” Furthermore, nation building-advocates, Mr. June Joson, Mr. Jeff Segumalian and Mr. Joseph Vinzons enticed the student leaders to be humble PINUNOs and selfless BAYANIs accentuating: “(As nation builders) We are not to live a normal life.”

Nine student clubs in Luzon engaged in the camp while the activity concluded with students presenting their advocacies and projects in their respective schools.
