Twenty-two teams from state colleges and universities in the Philippines joined in the Food, Non-Food, Service, and Technology Categories of the BIDA 2019. They submitted their Business Plans for initial screening by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Committee on Education. Both business plans were chosen as part of the Top 10 Finalists of the BIDA 2019 Food Category.

The Awarding will be held on October 16-17, 2019 at the Manila Hotel during the Philippine Business Conference 2019.

The BIDA Award is a project of the PCCI since 2007 with the aim of recognizing creativeness and innovativeness of the products, technology or services using available local, indigenous and recycled materials. It aims to develop an entrepreneurial culture and a sense of nationalism among Filipino youth and promote entrepreneurship as a major component in economic sustainable development.
