On September 26, 2019, SPUP conducted a “Dengue Prevention and Control Campaign” at the University Gymnasium. The activity was led by the Environment and Pollution Control and Advocacy Office in collaboration with the Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development (CVCHD).
Participated in by students and teachers, resource speakers from the CVCHD HANDS discussed practical ways to prevent dengue in school and at home. The discussion also included a lively exchange of ideas in the open forum. The activity culminated by the presentation of the DengBuster Mascots with their interpretative dance as Dengue heroes.
