SPUP’s Guidance Center spearheaded a session on Values Formation on Migration on March 08, 2019 at the LRC- Mo. Madeleine Hall. The activity was participated in by Senior High School students whose parents are working overseas.

The session geared towards helping the students cope with their individual challenges; nurture and enhance their spiritual connection; and develop camaraderie with other people. Dr. Teresita Lasam, (Head, Guidance Services) highlighted some psychological issues that might affect their psycho-emotional well being and shared some strategies to overcome their concerns for the development of their personality.

The Initial Community Visit was attended by the student-representatives from St. Paul University Philippines, University of St. Louis Tuguegarao, Cagayan State University, and F.L. Vargas College- the team’s partner-Universities. Moreover, officials from the Tugueagarao City Traffic Management Group, headed by Ret. P/SUPT Vincente Blancad, and representatives from the Philippine National Police and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation, partake during the discussion of the project.

The presentation was followed by group sharing and open forum. Processing of outputs capped the said endeavour.
