SPUP Christian Formation Office, through Sr. Mercedes Bacaoco, SPC, was awarded by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)- Field Office No. 2, as it commemorated its 68th Founding Anniversary with the theme: “DSWD, Katuwang sa Pagbabago.”

The DSWD’s program, “Pabbabalat 2018” aimed to recognize the contributions of Local Government Units, External Partners, Intermediaries, and the Academe, that significantly contributed to the pursuit of the mandate of DSWD. The award given to Sr. Mercedes is a recognition of her valuable contribution and continued professional collaboration with the DSWD in the implementation of its various programs and services. The recognition was presented by Leonardo C. Reynoso, CESO III, DSWD Regional Director, and was assisted by Lucia S. Alan, RSW, OIC – Assistant Regional Director for Operations and Celso Arao, Jr., OIC- Assistant Regional Director for Administration. The awarding ceremony was held at Meynard’s Resort and Leisure Park, Pallua, Tuguegarao City on February 20, 2019.

The DSWD is the partner-institution of the CF Outreach Services Program, particularly, the Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY), in Roma, Enrile, and the Haven for Women, and Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC), in Solana, Cagayan.

The award was received by Sr. Mercedes Bacaoco, SPC, Director for Christian Formation, and Mr. Hollis Sibal, Head of the CF Outreach Services.
