Bearing the theme, “Pagbibigay Buhay sa Laro ng Lahing Pinoy Tungo sa Pagbubuklod ng Pamilyang PAULIPINO”, over 3,000 parents from the Basic Education Unit attended the Family Day on February 16, 2019 at the BEU Gym.
The annual celebration aims to underscore the relevance of family bonding in the holistic formation of young children while strengthening cordial relationships among the school, parents, and students.
The BEU Family Council, headed by the president, Mrs. Zelda Amarles sought to revive Laro ng Lahi for this year’s Family Day through the different sports activities and traditional games to complement the yearly bingo socials and talent show.
Sr. Carmelita Villanueva, SPC (BEU Principal), supports every family’s fitness and social well-being through the said program which is deemed to be the most attended activity in the Basic Education Unit every year.
