The first group of teachers from Yangjiang Polytechnic and Vocational College in Guangdong Province, China, arrived in Tuguegarao City on February 14, 2019 to study at SPUP’s Graduate School. They will be enrolled in the Master’s degree programs of Education, Information Technology, Business Administration, and Psychology. Their study program will also include a two-month English proficiency course at SPUP’s Intercultural Institute for Languages.

The said endeavor is an offshoot of the international education partnership between Yangjiang Polytechnic College and SPUP, formalized on August 09, 2018.

Moreover, the leaders of the Bureau of Education in Maoming City, China, are scheduled to visit SPUP to discuss the sending of their 120 backbone senior high teachers to SPUP for Master’s degrees.

(SPUP is one of the thirty universities in the Philippines recognized by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.)
