October 18, 2018 – The School of Health Sciences of Sint Carolus Borromeus in Jakarta, Indonesia conducted a seminar on “Palliative Care: Issues and Challenges.” Participated in by health practitioners in the South East Asian countries, SPUP’s Ms. Alida L. Marallag discussed on the “Health Economics Issues of Palliative Care in the Philippines.”

The seminar underscored the importance of multi-disciplinary efforts to improve the delivery of palliative care in the ASEAN region and the significant role of nurses in its integration to the general health care delivery system.
