Thirty-Four (34) students of Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism Management completed their Work and Travel Program (WAT) in the United States of America (USA). The participants were deployed to retail businesses, theme parks, hotels, restaurants and tourism facilities and institutions in the states of North Carolina, Florida, South Dakota, California, Alabama and Wisconsin. They were also immersed and exposed to various cultures, working environment and industries during the said program.
The Work and Travel Program is SPUP’s endeavor for student-cultural exchange program in partnership with First Place Incorporated. The WAT program was slated from June to September 2018. SPUP students arrived in the Philippines on September 15, 2018.
