Tokushima University, SPUP’s partner University in Japan, fielded Takako Mizuguchi for a two-week Academic and Cultural Immersion from December 8 to December 26, 2018 to the Philippines. Ms. Takako is in her third year level at the School of Medicine at Tokushima University.
In SPUP, she enrolled in Special English Course at the Intercultural Institute for Languages and had her hospital and clinical immersion at St. Paul Hospital-Tuguegarao. She was also exposed to the Philippines’ festive Christmas Season where she witnessed various Philippine dances and enjoyed carnival rides and other Paskuhan activities.
She celebrated Christmas with SPUP’s international students from China, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. She travelled back to Japan last December 26, 2018.
