Ma. Pia Therese G. Paat and Paulyana Gimel T. Battung, both SPUP’s bet to the Ten Outstanding Cagayano Youth (TOCY) were awarded to this year’s Search at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Regional Office No. 2 on December 18, 2018. Krizel Lagundi landed as a Finalist.
The most coveted competition highlights the significant achievements and contributions of the nominees along the following areas: Academic Achievements, Co/Extra Curricular and Leadership Achievements, Social Responsibility and Cultural Responsibility. They were then rated and ranked from their documentary submissions to Top 20 as Finalists. The Top 20 Finalists were further evaluated for the Top 10 slots through essay writing and Panel Interview.
The search is now on its 8th year and is spearheaded by the organization – UP Cagayanos of the University of the Philippines Los Banos, Laguna.
