The School of Business, Accountancy, and Hospitality Management launched SPUP’s flight attendant training program on June 13, 2019. Held at the SPUP Global Center, the pioneering activity was participated in by Hospitality Management, Tourism Management and Senior High School students.
Mrs. Raquel Versoza (Head Trainor) oriented the students about the program. She discussed the rationale, course description, learning content and learning outcomes of the training program. She inspired the students to achieve their dreams and goals clearly and effectively.
Moreover, Mrs. Versoza highlighted the basic needs, perks or prowess of a flight attendant or cabin crew. Accordingly, the following are necessities: Speaking clearly and fluently; Knowing order and safety instructions; Selling goods or products; and, Treating guests with utmost care and hospitality. However, “innovate yourself with a high degree of professionalism, admiration, and effectiveness. A flight attendant is the corporeal image of the airline and the very company itself. One must be innovative while still maintaining poise and great stature, bringing to others the products and services with satisfaction,” she added.
A practical application was demonstrated and an open forum followed the presentation.
