On September 17, 2019, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) awarded to the SPUP – Community Development Center Foundation Incorporated (CDCFI) its Registration Certificate and License to Operate as a Social Welfare and Development Agency (SWDA) implementing Community-based Programs and Services for Indigenous People, Groups, Families and Communities in REGION 2- CAGAYAN VALLEY and in the CORDILLERA AUTONOMOUS REGION (CAR). The awarding during the ABSNet 3rd Quarter Meeting held at Riverview Hotel and Resort, Gonzaga, Cagayan. The said recognition is in accordance with Republic Act 4373.
Further, SPUPCDC was also recognized and was conferred level 2 accreditation for having complied with the 2nd level standards in the implementation of their programs and services. Having proven its capacity to provide quality and responsive programs and services SPUPCDC was recognized and awarded as Best NGO in Luzon during the 2019 PANATA KO SA BAYAN Awards.
