As the closing of the academic year, 2018-2019 approaches, SPUP convened its Media-Partners for a Kapihan (Thanksgiving Press Conference) on June 21, 2019. The event was held as a thanksgiving of SPUP for the support and assistance of its Media-Partners. Held at the SPUP Boardroom, the gathering was led by Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President) together with the Sisters and Lay Administrators of SPUP.

The gathering was opened with a fun-filled dance salvo of the BEU Pre-School pupils who grooved for an ultimate dance throwback. The performance was cheered by their parents, media-partners, SPC sisters and administrators.

Anchored on the theme: “Celebrating Life and Blessings,” Dr. Allan Peejay Lappay (Director, Alumni, External Relations and Advocacies), provided updates on SPUP’s undertakings and announced the upcoming events of the University. The Press Conference was highlighted by fruitful exchanges, discussions and commendations from the attendees. Sr. Merceditas and members of the SPUP administration joyfully responded to the queries of the members of the media regarding the academic endeavors and community engagements of the University.
