St. Paul University Philippines hosted the Commission on Higher Education International Affairs Director, Atty. Lily Freida Milla, CESO IV and International Relations Officers from some universities in the Philippines in the Workshop Session on Internationalization Roadmap Development for Philippine Higher Education on April 26-28, 2019.
The said workshop, which was attended by International Relations Officers from De La Salle College of St. Benilde, University of St. La Salle Bacolod, Kalinga State University and St. Paul University Philippines, was a Think-Tank session as prelude to a nation-wide workshop.
First draft of the IZN Roadmap for PHEIs was crafted after a series of sharing of best practices in internationalization and clearing the way forward was done which was facilitated by Atty. Milla. The group also travelled to Tinglayan and Lubwagan in Kalinga to observe indigenous practices which can form part of the indiginization of internationalization.
The delegation also participated as guests in the 2019 International Students Integration Program of SPUP on April 27 where cultural presentations and culinary festival were showcased by SPUP’s foreign and international students.
