SPUP’s Basic Education Unit (BEU) Robotics Team brought home international recognition from the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) International Challenge in Shenzhen City, Guangdong, China on November 25, 2018.

Participated in by 118 teams from China, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, South Korea and Vietnam, students from SPUP secured Bronze, Distinction and Excellence Awards respectively.

Joseph Kyle Balubal, Abiegail Dela Cruz and Janrodz Juillet Fermin (Elementary Category) bagged the Bronze Award in Programming Skills contest. Jayvee Pascual, Kin Furigay, and Christian Del Rosario (Middle Category) won Distinction Award for Programming skills; while Excellence Award was given to the groups of Elijah Joseph Pobre, Vincent Tyrone Raul Combate, and Justin Niño Marcos (Middle Category) and Andrei Anthony Amarles, Fernando Calabazaron IV, and Lorenzo Combate (High Category).> Caritas Christi urget nos!
