With the pressing issues on maternal and child health service delivery, the Islamic University of Makassar (in South Sulawesi, Indonesia) organized an International Health Conference focused on the discussion and sharing of best practices to strengthen Maternal and Pediatric Health System in Asia.
With SPUP’s stature as a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education in the Philippines, Ms. Cory C. Manuel, MSN (Faculty, College of Nursing) participated as the representative of the University. Contributing to the success of the academic conference is her lecture on “Current Updates in Maternal and Pediatric Diseases on October 21, 2018. She presented the issues on Maternal and Pediatric Health services relevant to the Philippine Healthcare system.
