On January 15, 2025, St. Paul University Philippines, in partnership with the Regional Anti-Child Online Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking Task Force 02 (RACETTF 02), conducted an orientation on anti-human trafficking, online sexual abuse, and exploitation. The said orientation, which was organized through The Paulinian Student Government (PSG) along with the Alumni, External Relations, and Advocacies, was attended by Paulinians from the Basic Education Unit up to the College Level.
In particular, the orientation featured expert discussions on salient provisions of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act, as amended (RA 9208) and the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (RA 11930), equipping participants to identify red flags and effectively report cases.
Furthermore, the program also underscored the roles of students in combating these crimes, culminating in the oath-taking of members and election of Student Warriors Against Trafficking and Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (SWAT-OSAEC) officers.
