
PARTNERSHIP WITH ACCENTURE FURTHER ENHANCES SPUP’S INDUSTRY COLLABORATION

St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP), led by Dr. Carlos Babaran Jr. (Director, ICT) along with the faculty members of the School of Information Technology & Engineering (SITE), led by Dr. Marifel Grace Kummer (Dean) visited the Accenture Office in Cubao, Quezon City on October 23, 2025 to formalize the collaboration and partnership opportunities with the said global tech company.
During the meeting, the SPUP delegation was warmly welcomed by Christine Kate M. Gamilla-Damaso, Campus Recruiting Senior Analyst of Accenture. The discussion centered on Accenture’s Campus Programs, which include the Virtual Career Fair, Campus Talks and Sponsorship, University Leads Forum, Curriculum Advisory, and the Accenture Internship Program. These initiatives aim to bridge academic learning and industry practice by preparing students with the skills, exposure, and professional mindset needed in the digital era.
The partnership discussion also highlighted potential collaboration areas such as curriculum alignment with industry trends, internship opportunities for SPUP students, and future engagements that promote innovation and digital leadership.
This visit underscores SPUP’s commitment to fostering academic-industry linkages that empower students and faculty to stay abreast of evolving technological landscapes and prepare future-ready Paulinian professionals.
