SPUP RECEIVES TRIBUTE IN DILG’S EAGLE PROGRAM

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Region 2 honored SPUP in the Excellence Award on Governance and Leadership (EAGLE) program on November 17, 2022, at the Pulsar Hotel and Convention Center. The program aimed to recognize local government units and officials for their exemplary performance and good practices in local governance in the Cagayan Valley region.
DILG also acknowledged its various partner agencies, public and private, for their technical assistance and support during assessment phase of the said program. SPUP is recognized as a Learning Resource Institute during the validation of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) and implementation of the Seal of Good Local Governance Barangay (SGLB) in the region. SPUP’s tribute is given to Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President). Dr. Allan Peejay Lappay (Director, Alumni, External Relations, and Advocacies) was also recognized as one of the regional assessors of SGLG and SGLGB respectively.
DILG Regional Director, Jonathan Paul Leusen, Jr. led the awarding ceremonies.
