
SPUP HOLDS FORUM WITH US EMBASSY OFFICIALS

St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) hosted the Honorable Nina S. Lewis (Public Engagement Program Officer, U.S. Embassy Manila) on April 18, 2023. Together with her party, Ms. Lewis’ visit aimed to promote and discuss the various services offered by the US Embassy for education and youth.
The forum, held at the SPUP Global Center – Convention Hall, commenced with a welcome message by Dr. Agripina Maribbay (Vice-President for Academics), followed by the acknowledgement of the participants by Dr. Jeremy Godofredo Morales (Director, Internationalization). Ms. Lewis also presented her team to the participants, composed of SPC Sisters, administrators, faculty members and student-leaders.
In her presentation, Ms. Lewis focused on the following areas for prospective partnership and collaboration with SPUP: academic and cultural exchange programs, higher education institution linkages, and scholastic engagement such as conferences and webinars. This was followed by a fruitful interaction where the Officials from US Embassy engage with the participants through an open forum.
