MD STUDENT RECEIVES HONOR AS A NATATANGING MAG-AARAL NG MEDISINA NG PILIPINAS 2025

Mr. Elmer B. Salvador Jr. (MD – IV) has been recognized as one of the Top 10 National Awardees in the “Mga Natatanging Mag-aaral ng Medisina ng Pilipinas (MNMMP) 2025.” This distinguished accolade is presented by the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges – Student Network (APMC-SN). The award was conferred during the 8th APMC-SN National Convention, held from May 2–4, 2025, at the West Visayas State University in Iloilo City.
The event brought together top medical students from across the Philippines, celebrating their achievements and contributions to the field of medicine. The MNMMP award honors extraordinary medical students who have demonstrated remarkable proficiency in academics, leadership, research, community engagement, and social responsibility. Mr. Salvador’s recognition highlights his dedication to advancing medical knowledge, his active involvement in community healthcare initiatives, and his leadership skills within the academic sphere. Moreover, his achievements in research and his commitment to harnessing medical practices for the betterment of underserved communities stand as a testament to his hard work and dedication. As a leader among his peers, he consistently champions the importance of holistic medical education and the pivotal role of healthcare professionals in societal development.
The award ceremony at the APMC-SN National Convention gathered a host of distinguished guests, faculty members, and students, all of whom applauded the efforts and accomplishments of the awardees.
