Caritas Christi urget nos!
With the theme: “Paulinian Education and Discipleship: Global Catalyst of Excellence in the 4th Industrial Revolution,” the Grade 10 students finally took their bow as they received their certificate of completion last June 18, 2019 at the University Gymnasium. Sister Merceditas Ang, SPC, (University President) and Sister Carmelita Villanueva, SPC (BEU Principal) awarded the certificates to the 194 Junior High School completers who hurdled the basic requirements prescribed by DepEd and conformed with the standards of SPUP.
Dr. Agripina Maribbay (VP for Academics) awarded the medals and certificates to the meritorious students. Gold cards were given to those whose general weighted average ranges from 90% and above. Moreover, those who exhibited exemplary behavior and imbibed the Pauline values and principles were given a deportment award. Students’ performances in co-curricular activities were also recognized as they received special awards in leadership, parish involvement, and sports, to name a few.
Krizel Ann Lagundi, this year’s Grade 10 first honors, delivered her words of gratitude on behalf of her batch. She expressed her gratitude to the sisters and administrators for providing the students with the best facilities and a healthy environment where they can grow and mature as responsible individuals. Further, she also thanked those people who greatly influenced her life as a Junior High School student- her family, teachers, classmates, and friends.
The moving up ceremonies were facilitated by Mr. Chester Karl Manuel and Miss Mary Jane Abella.
