St. Paul University Philippines, through the School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (SNAHS) has endeavoured for a global webinar series for the benefit of students, educators, and leaders across disciplines. The virtual engagement banners the theme, “Higher Education in Focus: Discover, Visualize, and Reimagine”. It is aimed to explore the challenges and opportunities, and lessons that educational institutions around the world need. The said undertaking is initiated by Dr. Benjamin Joel Brebonera (PhD-Nursing Science, Alumnus) together with Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President, SPUP).
The global webinar series, offered for free, covers 11 sessions featuring speakers from the United States of America, Canada, Portugal, and Israel. The premier episode was conducted on January 31, 2023 and will run until June of the same year. Topics and discussions highlight practical competencies, current global trends, and technology innovation and transformation in higher education. Participants are students, teachers, and practitioners from USA, Qatar, Maldives, Mongolia, Oman, United Kingdom, Brunei, Kuwait, Canada, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Philippines.
