SPUP’s annual Paskuhan was celebrated with the partner-communities of the University on December 17, 2022. Faculty members and students of each academic unit (school) in keeping with the mood of the season, prepared a simple yet meaningful and fun-filled celebration of sharing and togetherness for their respective partner community.
The Basic Education Unit (BEU) opted to invite and bring the members of their partner-communities to SPUP. Its Family Council spearheaded a medical and dental mission for the people of Roma Sur, Enrile, Cagayan (Senior High School), Magogod, Amulung, Cagayan (Junior High School) and Namabbalan, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (Grade School). The faculty members and students of the School of Medicine (SOM) and the School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (SNAHS) rendered their assistance to the said activity. The undertaking also endeavored gift-giving to the members of the said partner-communities.
The School of Business Accountancy and Hospitality Management (SBAHM), conducted its Annual Christmas Gift Giving at Maguirig, Solana, Cagayan. The School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) and School of Arts, Sciences and Teacher Education (SASTE) spent their Paskuhan celebration with the Indigenous People’s community in Agugaddan, Penablanca, Cagayan.
The Paskuhan celebration with the University’s partner-communities was facilitated by the Community Development Center (CDC). Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President) graced the said community development activity.
